My name is Lina Funa. I come from the Kras region of Slovenia and I am a competitive sport climber specializing in bouldering.
I am known for my dynamic movement style, strong competitive mindset, and my no regrets approach — committing fully to every attempt and embracing challenges without hesitation.
I started climbing at the age of six and won my very first competition. From that moment on, climbing became more than just a sport; it became my way of expressing focus, creativity, and resilience. I took my first steps into climbing in the town of Sežana and now train professionally in Koper under the guidance of Luka Fonda.
I progressed quickly through the Slovenian youth categories and became a member of the Slovenian youth national team, gaining valuable experience on the international stage.
Throughout my career, I have achieved podium finishes at European Youth Championships, competed at World Championships, and represented Slovenia at major international events.
In 2025, I stepped into my first senior World Cup season, marking an important milestone in my athletic development and long-term goals.
My personal philosophy, LF — Limits Free, reflects how I approach both sport and life: with ambition, curiosity, and the courage to push beyond perceived limits.
I am driven by constant progress and the belief that growth happens outside the comfort zone.
